He has longish shaggy red hair that often gets into his eyes (which are blue), freckles, and is identical to his twin brother George. He likes to wear simple clothing in Muggle styles when he can (jumpers, long-sleeved t-shirts, flannel shirts and turtlenecks with denims) in darker colours. He has a pair of black dragon-hide boots with silver buckles on them that he wears almost every day without fail. At work, he wears magenta robes, though he and George are thinking about changing those. Fred wears glasses when he's working or reading, due to injuries sustained during the Final Battle. He also has three scars caused by what happened to him: one across his chest, another down his back, and the third along his inner thigh. He sometimes has random pains in his legs and back, and needs to sit down a bit more often than he used to. Occupation: Co-Owner (with George) of Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. Family: Parents: Arthur and Molly Weasley. Siblings: Bill (and Fleur), Charlie, Percy, George, Ron and Ginny. He loves his family very much and would give his life for them. Personality: Fred is stong willed and quite stubborn. He's a prankster and very much a showman, though he has matured a bit since the Final Battle. Fred is very much his father's son, having inherited Arthur's love for Muggles and his fascination with Muggle things. He ultimately believes that people don't choose who they are born to, and that everyone bleeds the same colour blood in the end. He would like nothing more than to see the Death Eaters in Azkaban for what they have done. Strengths: Manages to carry on despite all odds and never loses his sense of purpose, he is very strong-willed and caring. He loves his family, especially his twin brother George, and would protect them at any cost. He is intelligent, has a good mind for business, possesses a sharp wit, and tends to focus on the big picture. Weaknesses: He can be a bit dark and sarcastic at times. He has night terrors on occasion as the memories of what happened to him in the Battle return. He feels lost without George, and part of him is afraid that George will leave him, even though that will never happen. He can be arrogant, has a quick temper, is stubborn and bloody-minded, and he tends to gloss over the details in his world view. History: Fred Weasley was born on 1 April 1978 to Arthur and Molly Weasley, his twin brother George was born about 13 minutes later. The twins became the pranksters of the family growing up. He and George were closer than anything, and did everything together. They were known as the 'terrors', teasing their siblings (especially their brothers Ron and Percy), but never meant anything maliciously. When the twins arrived at Hogwarts, they were sorted into Gryffindor, and both became Beaters for their House Quidditch team. They brought their troublemaking ways to school with them, and Filch had a whole filing cabinet drawer devoted to the twins. They started to invent their own products and creations, testing them out on unsuspecting 'volunteers' (who got paid for their efforts) with the help of their best friend, Lee Jordan. During their seventh year, they were banned from Quidditch by Dolores Umbridge, and they eventually quit school just before taking their NEWTs because of her oppressive ways. After leaving Hogwarts, the twins opened their own shop, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, at 93 Diagon Alley. They sold their creations and were a huge success. They helped the Order of the Phoenix as much as they could during the war. During the Battle of Hogwarts, Fred was in the middle of laughing at a joke his brother Percy made when there was an explosion. Part of a wall fell on him, and he was presumed dead. Only after being brought to the Great Hall, his family grieving around him, did George notice a laboured rise and fall in Fred's chest. After checking for a pulse and finding a weak one, they did what they could to keep him alive until it was safe to transport him to St. Mungo's. Nearly two weeks passed before Fred finally woke from his comatose state, with severe injuries from the falling debris that hit him. After spending several months recovering, first at St. Mungo's and then at the flat above his and George's shop, Fred has been getting back to business. He is working on new products for Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, and is thinking about buying out Zonko's like originally planned and setting up a second shop in Hogsmeade.
